A full groom usually takes around an hour, though it can take longer depending on your dog's size, coat condition and how they settle on the day. We'd rather take the time and do it properly than rush your dog through. We'll give you a call as soon as your dog is ready to collect, and if anything comes up while we're working we'll ring you there and then rather than leave it as a surprise at pick-up.

Our standard shampoo is a gentle, neutral apple shampoo that suits most coats. If your dog has sensitive skin or a known skin condition, tell us when you book so we can take extra care, and for some conditions we'll suggest using a medicated shampoo from your vet instead.

Yes. We'll brush out light matting as part of the groom. With more severe matting, we usually clip the coat short because brushing it out would hurt the dog and can damage the skin underneath. Badly matted coats take considerably longer to work through, so the price will be higher. We'll talk you through it before we start.

Often, yes. It depends on the individual dog. We work at the dog's pace and we've handled a lot of nervous dogs over the years. For a small number, being groomed under sedation at a vet is safer, and we'll tell you if we think that's the case. We'll go through your dog's history with you on the new client form before their first groom.

All grooming happens on Foredrift Close in Redditch, B98 7NP, with free parking right outside. You drop your pet off, get on with your day, and we'll ring you as soon as they're ready to collect.
